Accessibility

We want everyone to be able to use this site, including on a phone, with a keyboard or a screen reader.

What we aim for

We build to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. This site has not yet been checked by an independent accessibility auditor, so we do not claim that it fully meets them.

What we have done

A clear, easy-to-read font, at a large size.
Strong colour contrast, and a clear outline around whatever you have selected with your keyboard.
A “Skip to main content” link at the top of every page.
Buttons and links big enough to tap easily.
Pages designed to work when zoomed in to 200%.
Movement is turned off if your device is set to reduce motion.
Plain English, with legal words explained.
